Like many of you, I am a product of the public schools. Like many of you I thought the Constitution was for lawyers and judges. One day I read the Constitution, and was surprised to find I didn't need a law degree to understand it. Then I read the Declaration of Independence, the Federalist Papers and even the Anti-Federalist Papers. As I learned more and more about our founding fathers and documents I saw how little we know about how our country was designed to work and how many people just didn't care. I started The Constitution Study to help those who also want read and study our Constitution.

  1. The Federal “agents” have limited constitutional authority. They can not act beyond the chains of the Constitution, it’s not within their power to spend money on charity or many other things. They need to be detained and held for a grand jury. End of story. It’s not about voting.

    1. As I said, Congress is not legally allowed to spend money on anything not specifically delegated to them in the Constitution, but that does not mean that taxation is automatically theft. It is our representatives, acting in our name, that are embezzling money from us to spend illegally, so we cannot absolve ourselves of responsibility by saying “taxation is theft”.
