080 – Green Mountain Nullification & Supreme Tyranny

Green Mountain Nullification – I seem to have stumbled onto a pattern as I find another story about a state pushing back on the overreach of the federal government. Let’s go to Vermont to see their legislature re-asserting their authority over intrastate commerce, next on The Constitution Study. Supreme Tyranny – People have been talking about the supreme Court opinion in the case about the citizenship question on the census, but almost nobody noticed the judicial tyranny the court displayed. https://constitutionstudy.com/2019/05/31/green-mountain-nullification/#more-1588 Code of Federal Regulations 21 CFR 1240.61: https://www.accessdata.fda.gov/scripts/cdrh/cfdocs/cfcfr/CFRSearch.cfm?fr=1240.61 U.S. Constitution, Article I, Section 8, Clause 3: https://www.archives.gov/founding-docs/constitution-transcript#toc-section-8- Farm-To-Consumer Legal Defense Fund v. Like many of you, I am a product of the public schools. Like many of you I thought the Constitution was for lawyers and judges. One day I read the Constitution, and was surprised to find I didn't need a law degree to understand it. Then I read the Declaration of Independence, the Federalist Papers and even the Anti-Federalist Papers. As I learned more and more about our founding fathers and documents I saw how little we know about how our country was designed to work and how many people just didn't care. I started The Constitution Study to help those who also want read and study our Constitution.
