Nets Hide Political Identity of Left-Wing Activist Killed in NYC

Early Monday, left-wing activist Ryan Carson was stabbed to death on the streets of Brooklyn, New York while he was on his way home from a wedding. In the days since his death, the media have picked up on it and begun mourning Carson while ignoring his leftist politics and hateful rhetoric including him celebrating the death of talk radio icon Rush Limbaugh.   ABC’s World News Tonight was the worst offender since the network spent the most time lionizing the hateful leftist. Correspondent Trevor Ault reported Carlson “a well-known social activist who helped fight poverty and addiction in the community, and authorities say it was a random attack.”      After providing further details on the incident, Ault aired kind words about Carson from one of his friends:  HANNAH HOLDEN: He had a bounce in his step and you could see him coming from a mile away.  AULT: Hannah Holden worked with him and says his drive to help others made him larger than life.  HOLDEN: When you met him, you loved him. You wanted to be near him. You wanted to be more like him.  These tweets celebrating the deaths of people he didn’t agree with politically, doesn’t seem like something that would make any normal person “love him” or “want to be near him”:   Murdered Brooklyn antifa activist Ryan Carson, who is celebrated by leftists & Democrats for his "kindness," had locked his two accounts @RyantCarson & @ArtSchoolJock. But posts have emerged showing him celebrating death & violence. https://t.co/R5lBwKzu8L pic.twitter.com/jX7rLJsWNj — Andy Ngô 🏳️‍🌈 (@MrAndyNgo) October 5, 2023   CBS & NBC were just as dishonest as ABC when it came to hiding his political identity. CBS Evening News anchor Norah O’Donnell described Carson as a “social activist”, while NBC Nightly News anchor Lester Holt referred to him as a “community activist.” No description of his politics, nor his hateful tweets. If the political parties were reversed, the networks would’ve dug these up and put them on screen  The transcripts are below:  ABC’s World News Tonight 10/5/2023 6:38:09 p.m. Eastern  DAVID MUIR: In New York City tonight, the major headline after that unprovoked and deadly attack at a bus stop. A young couple coming home from a wedding, the young man stabbed in the heart and killed. Tonight, the suspect is now under arrest, and what we’ve now learned. ABC’s Trevor Ault in Brooklyn.  TREVOR AULT: Tonight, 18-year-old Brian Dowling led into a police car in handcuffs.  UNIDENTIFIED REPORTER: Brian, why’d you do it?  AULT: Charged with murder with depraved indifference.  UNIDENTIFIED REPORTER: Brian, what did he do to you?  AULT: He’s accused of killing a 31-year-old man sitting at a bus stop with his girlfriend. They had just left a wedding. That victim was Ryan Carson, a well-known social activist who helped fight poverty and addiction in the community, and authorities say it was a random attack. This surveillance video key to the case, allegedly showing Dowling in the black sweatshirt walking past Carson and his girlfriend. Dowling then allegedly threatening Carson, who puts himself between the attacker and his girlfriend, backing away. Carson trips over that bus stop bench and is stabbed multiple times.  JOSEPH KENNY CHIEF OF DETECTIVES, NYPD): The knife pierces Mr Carson’s heart, causing his death.  AULT: Today, detectives were searching Dowling’s home near the crime scene when sources tell ABC News Dowling showed up. He was taken into custody without incident. Investigators finding a black sweatshirt matching the one in the video, and a knife that’s now being tested.  RYAN CARSON: Today, we are launching the No-O.D. New York campaign. Together, we can end overdose deaths.  AULT: Ryan Carson dedicated his life to social causes, starting that "No O.D. New York” campaign after his best friend died in 2016.  HANNAH HOLDEN: He had a bounce in his step and you could see him coming from a mile away.  AULT: Hannah Holden worked with him and says his drive to help others made him larger than life.  HOLDEN: When you met him, you loved him. You wanted to be near him. You wanted to be more like him.  AULT: And David, the suspect, Brian Dowling, is now due in court to be arraigned on these charges tomorrow. Tomorrow also would have been Ryan Carson’s 32nd birthday. CBS Evening News 10/5/2023 6:37:32 p.m. Eastern  NORAH O’DONNELL: Tonight, there’s been an arrest in a stabbing death that shocked and saddened many in New York City. CBS New York was at the scene when 18-year-old Brian Dowling was taken into custody at his home this morning. He’s charged with murdering 32-year-old social activist Ryan Carson in a brutal attack caught on surveillance video. It happened on a Brooklyn street early Monday, when Carson and his girlfriend were heading home from a wedding. No word yet on a motive.  NBC Nightly News 10/5/2023 6:39:56 p.m. Eastern  LESTER HOLT: Here in New York, a suspect is under arrest tonight in the stabbing death of a community activist earlier this week. A surveillance video shows 32-year-old Ryan Carson being confronted by a man and being stabbed multiple times on a Brooklyn street as his girlfriend watched. Officials say the 18-year-old suspect has been charged with murder.

Ohio HB 201 would prohibit any state agency, county or township from restricting the sale or use of a motor vehicle based on the type of energy used to power a vehicle, as well as prevent any state agency from adopting California’s stringent vehicle emissions standards, according to its text. In Disbarment Trial of Trump’s Former Attorney John Eastman, Retired DoD Analyst Says ‘Large Injections of Votes’ Added During Georgia Senate Runoff

The disbarment trial of Donald Trump’s former attorney and constitutional legal scholar John Eastman is in the middle of the seventh week. On Wednesday, retired Department of Defense analyst Ray Blehar returned to the witness stand, discussing his findings that “large injections of votes” were added during the U.S. Senate runoff in Georgia in January 2021. He was followed by Dr. Stanley Young, a statistician who appears to be the only one of Eastman’s witnesses who California Bar Disciplinary Court Judge Yvette Roland has allowed to be designated as an expert witness.
Eastman’s attorney Randy Miller asked Blehar about an email exchange he had with Eastman regarding the runoff, in which Democrat Jon Ossoff defeated Republican incumbent David Perdue. Blehar told Eastman that "large injections of votes (over 10,000) were added" on five occasions during the Georgia Senate runoff race overnight. Roland cut him off, stating that it wasn’t relevant to the charges against Eastman and was “wasting time.” The bar disciplinary charges state that Eastman “made false and misleading statements regarding purported election fraud.”
