The Supreme Court says Not So Fast! Will we ever be done with January 6th

Will we ever be done with January 6th? Just when you think you’ve heard the last, something new pops up.

Remember when the Colorado Supreme Court decided that Donald Trump was disqualified from the primary ballot? The Supreme Court of the United States has weighed in on that, and their decision should impact the other attacks as well. Then there are the numerous accusations of over-sentencing. The D.C. Appeals Court has weighed in on one case. Will the other courts consider this court’s opinion in their sentencing?

What about the journalist who was served an arrest warrant by the FBI, even though they said they were not taking him into custody? Does any of this sound out of control? Is the federal government running amok, or have the people begun worshiping their creation?

Paul Engel

Like many of you, I am a product of the public schools. Like many of you I thought the Constitution was for lawyers and judges. One day I read the Constitution, and was surprised to find I didn't need a law degree to understand it. Then I read the Declaration of Independence, the Federalist Papers and even the Anti-Federalist Papers. As I learned more and more about our founding fathers and documents I saw how little we know about how our country was designed to work and how many people just didn't care. I started The Constitution Study to help those who also want read and study our Constitution.
