Some truths behind the Robert Hur theatre

As much as people try to convince you otherwise, Congressional committee hearings are more political theatre than searches for the truth. This can be seen if we take a closer look at the recent House Judiciary Committee hearing regarding Special Counsel Robert Hur’s report on his investigation into the Biden document scandal.

Contrary to what I’ve heard in the media, there was political grandstanding, insinuations, and spinning of the facts on both sides. However, if we take some time to allow the original source of the report to speak, we can find some interesting and important nuggets of information to help us in our search for that elusive truth.

While investigating the Hur hearing takes up a lot of time, we also need to consider the recent House vote to potentially ban TikTok from the United States. If we cut through all the rhetoric, we may find the answer is not quite as cut and dry as we’ve been led to believe.

Like many of you, I am a product of the public schools. Like many of you I thought the Constitution was for lawyers and judges. One day I read the Constitution, and was surprised to find I didn't need a law degree to understand it. Then I read the Declaration of Independence, the Federalist Papers and even the Anti-Federalist Papers. As I learned more and more about our founding fathers and documents I saw how little we know about how our country was designed to work and how many people just didn't care. I started The Constitution Study to help those who also want read and study our Constitution.
