There has been a lot of hype in the media around the March jobs report released by the Bureau of Labor Statistics. As with all political reports, it appears the truth is neither as good as the government wants you to believe nor as bad as their political opponents would suggest. A bit of research should help us find the good, the bad, and the ugly in this latest propaganda report.
There are three types of lies in the world. Lies, Darn Lies, and Statistics. We should keep that in mind as we read and hear about the latest jobs report released by the Bureau of Labor Statistics. These numbers are not nearly as good as D.C. would like you to believe. Then again, they aren’t nearly as bad as their political opponents would want you to believe either.
Today, we’ll take a quick look at the March Jobs report and some of the reporting around it. That should help us find something more like the truth. We’ll also take some time to look at how policies and laws have impacted this most recent jobs report and the economy as a whole.
