A federal judge, in a ruling aimed at restoring the core functions of the defunct United States Agency for International Development ( USAID ), appeared either to not know or, indeed, falsify how the agency was created.
Chuang, who serves on the Federal District Court of Maryland bench and was appointed by former President Barack Obama, claims that Congress created USAID and, therefore, it cannot be shut down solely through presidential authority.

Tennessee State House Passes Bill Mandating Minors Use Bathrooms Based on Biological Sex, Not Transgender Identity

The Tennessee State House on Monday passed legislation that would mandate schools, and other public programs offered to minors, to segregate their bathrooms based on biological sex, which would disallow use of facilities based on an individual identifying as transgender.
House Bill (HB) 64 by State Representative Gino Bulso (R-Brentwood) would require Tennessee educational programs for minor students segregate bathroom, shower, and changing facilities based on the biological gender of the student, prohibiting the consideration of a transgender identity, for any "residential educational program" in Tennessee.
