Missouri Republican Sen. Josh Hawley on Monday introduced legislation that would send at least $600 to every American adult and child in the form of a tariff rebate check that is similar to pandemic-era stimulus checks.
Hawley co-authored the legislation creating COVID-19 pandemic stimulus checks in 2020, alongside Independent Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, which provided Americans with up to $1,200 to help with financial hardships created by the pandemic. The new bill echoes the stimulus legislation.
Starting October, the court will take up cases on major social and political issues, including males competing in female sports, redistricting, and IQ.
