President Donald Trump did not just defend free speech while addressing elites at Davos’s World Economic Forum elites on Thursday. He also threw down the gauntlet.
Speaking remotely, Trump addressed Davos telling those assembled about his efforts to eradicate censorship on Thursday. “I’m pleased to report that America is also a free nation once again,” Trump told the assembled politicians, executives and other attendees. “On day one I signed an executive order to stop all government censorship. No longer will our government label the speech of our own citizens as misinformation or disinformation–which are the favorite words of censors and those who wish to stop the free exchange of ideas and frankly progress. We have saved free speech in America.”

Doctor Headed to Trial For Exposing Child Sex Change Procedures Urges Trump DOJ to Drop Case

A doctor who exposed secret child transgender procedures at the nation’s largest children’s hospital hopes President Donald Trump will stop the Department of Justice (DOJ) from taking him to trial in February.
Dr. Eithan Haim told the Daily Caller News Foundation that the DOJ will be “in direct contravention” of the White House if it continues to prosecute him for blowing the whistle on Texas Children’s Hospital’s sex change program in May 2023. The DOJ claims he broke privacy law by releasing records about transgender procedures to the media, bringing a felony case that has led to nationwide scrutiny, months of procedural hangups and the dismissal of a leading prosecutor.

New Bill Would Codify Trump’s Birthright Citizenship Executive Order Into Law

Rep. Brian Babin has introduced a bill that would end automatic birthright citizenship for children born in the U.S. to parents of illegal aliens.
Automatic birthright citizenship, regardless of parent’s legal status, is “one of the abused aspects of our immigration system,” Babin, R-Texas, told The Daily Signal.

Arizona Bill Would Establish 100% Backed Gold and Silver Transactional Currency and Bullion Depository

A bill filed in the Arizona Senate would establish a transactional currency backed 100 percent by gold and silver, along with a bullion depository. If passed, it would create infrastructure to facilitate the everyday use of sound money while offering safe storage for precious metals.

South Carolina Bill Would Take First Steps Against a CBDC

The legislation would prohibit any governing authority in South Carolina from accepting or requiring payment using central bank digital currency. It would also bar any state or local government agency from participating in any test of central bank digital currency by the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System or branch or agency of the federal government.

South Dakota Bill Would Prohibit Credit Card Codes to Track Firearms Purchases

The legislation would bar financial institutions operating in the state from requiring "the use of a firearms code in a way that distinguishes a firearms dealer physically located in this state from a general merchandise retailer or a sporting goods retailer located in this state."

Kansas Bill Would Make Gold and Silver Legal Tender, End Taxes on Both

A bill filed in the Kansas Senate would officially recognize gold and silver as legal tender and repeal state taxes on the metals. Passage into law would set the stage for the people themselves to undermine the Federal Reserve monopoly by introducing competition into the monetary system.
